Tassat Appoints Glen Sussman as CEO to Drive Institutional Growth in Blockchain Payments
Tassat Group, a blockchain payments provider, has named Glen Sussman as its new chief executive officer. Sussman, who previously served as president and chief strategy officer, will replace outgoing CEO Zain Saidin. Saidin will transition to a senior advisory role on the company's board, focusing on institutional growth strategies.
Since joining Tassat in 2021, Sussman has been instrumental in launching key products, including Lynq, a real-time settlement network for digital asset institutions developed with Arca Labs and tZERO, and the Digital Interbank Network, the first U.S. tokenized deposit network operating within regulatory guidelines.
The leadership change coincides with Tassat's plans to expand Lynq's footprint, a platform described as a fully integrated settlement solution backed by proprietary 'interest-in-transit' technology. The company aims to achieve significant development milestones in the coming months, targeting broader access and adoption among institutional partners.
"Tassat is uniquely positioned to power the next chapter of market infrastructure," Sussman said. The firm anticipates accelerating adoption of stablecoins, tokenized deposits, and digital asset securities while maintaining compliance.
